The Robert Busch School of Design at Kean University is accepting applications for the Thinking Creatively Design Camp, a four-week design camp for students ages 15-17 years old — enthusiastic campers interested in advertising design, graphic design, interior design, or industrial design.
Thinking Creatively Design Campers will work with Kean design faculty, visiting professional designers, and art directors in a fun, creative, and collaborative environment to develop original design solutions to real-world assignments and expand creative thinking.
ACTIVITIES include individual studio projects, a professionally organized design charrette, a field trip to a professional studio and / or design event, critiques, group and team studio projects, final portfolio exhibition and reception.
THINKING CREATIVELY DESIGN CAMP will run from JULY 5 THROUGH JULY 28, 9:30am TO 3:15pm, Monday through Thursday, on the Kean University Campus in Union, NJ.
Campers will learn the foundations of creative design through innovative, active exercises and projects. They’ll also get a chance to see their work displayed in an exhibition and virtually on the Thinking Creatively Design Camp website.
THE COST for the standard option for participating campers is $950. (A deposit of $300 is due at registration.) Students who are already registered as incoming freshman for the Fall 2016 semester at Kean have the option of taking the Camp for college credit (3 credits) for an additional fee.
INTERESTED STUDENTS SHOULD REGISTER at kean.edu/summercamps
