Many changes have happened within the main building and around the grounds of Liberty Hall Museum, which go unseen to visitors and regular patrons. Also, as the museum continues to organize and exhibit its collections, the arrangement of items throughout the main building and the surrounding landscape will continue to change. A priority of the museum is to digitally preserve these changes and arrangements and find ways of sharing that preserved information with the public.
Responding to the need for visualization and documentation, the Room of Echoes project documents the different iterations of one room in Liberty Hall over the past four centuries using interactive 3D media.
This research has been supported with various grant awards through the Kean University Office of Sponsored Research and Programs including a Students Partnering with Faculty Summer Research Award, UFRI, and FFRA Award.
