Her focused research is in applying integrated analysis methodology at the beginning of the design process to allow for a deeper, more holistic understanding of the client, occupant, societal, ecological and cultural needs before initial design process begins. She has published several articles on the future of integral sustainable design, and has been invited to presented her research at the International Educational Conference at Hawaii University and the Wood at Work Symposium in New York City. She is currently working on several textbooks dealing with the holistic and integral approach to sustainable design.
